Delhi's average AQI in November 2020 worse than last year: CPCB

The average Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded in Delhi was 328 in November 2020, higher than average AQI of 312 in November 2019, according to the Central Pollution Control Board data. "Preliminary reasons behind this could be higher stubble burning cases this year," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said. He added that emissions around Diwali are also a factor.
