Delhi's Laxmi Nagar & 5 surrounding markets shut till July 5 for COVID-19 violations

Delhi's Laxmi Nagar main market and surrounding markets, including Mangal Bazaar, Vijay Chowk, Subhash Chowk, Jagatram Park and Guru Ramdas Nagar, will remain shut till 10 pm of July 5. This comes amid violations of COVID-19 norms in these markets, East Delhi DM said. "Due to large footfall, the market association...were unable to ensure COVID-19 protocols," the official order said.
