Delhi's Tihar jail inmate swallows mobile phone fearing search by staff

An undertrial prisoner at Delhi’s Tihar jail swallowed a mobile phone when a staff member was approaching to conduct a search on him over suspicion. The inmate has been shifted to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital and his condition is said to be stable. As per a report, the phone is still inside his stomach.
