Dell on Monday confirmed the acquisition of data storage company EMC in a deal valued at about $67 billion. This marks the largest technology acquisition till date. The offer is $33.15 per share with $24.05 in cash and a special type of stock linked to “a portion of EMC's economic interest” in its VMware business, the companies announced.
