Dell considering $50 billion stake sale in VMware: Report

Dell Technologies is considering spinning off its stake in cloud computing software maker VMware Inc for $50 billion, Wall Street Journal reported. Dell, which acquired 81% stake in VMware in 2016, is also looking at options to buy the rest of VMware. The talks are still in very early stages and a decision is unlikely before 2021, the report added.
