Dell to pay $1 bn settlement in lawsuit accusing it of short-changing investors

Dell Technologies has agreed to pay $1 billion to settle a lawsuit stemming from its December 2018 transaction involving its Class V stock. The lawsuit accused Dell of short-changing some investors in an approximately $24 billion transaction. The settlement also covers claims against Goldman Sachs, a defendant in the lawsuit, Dell said.
