Democracy favours plurality: Akhilesh on 'One Nation One Election'

Opposing 'One Nation One Election' Bill, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav said the feeling of 'one' "has no place for others" and it "violates social tolerance". "Democracy favours plurality. The decision of 'one country-one election' will prove fatal for true democracy," he stated. "This will eliminate importance of regional issues," he further said. The Bill has been tabled in Parliament today.
