Demolish illegal constructions or face action: BMC to Goregaon Sports Club

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has sent two notices to Goregaon Sports Club in Malad (West) within a week, warning it of action against unauthorised constructions being carried out on the premises. According to the civic body, the club is violating fire safety norms. The club president, however, denied BMC's claim and blamed the opposition for spreading misinformation.
