Demolition begins at Delhi's Udyog Bhawan for Central Vista

Demolitions have begun at Delhi's Udyog Bhawan as part of the Central Vista redevelopment project, following the demolition of the Nirman Bhawan in May. Both buildings were built during the post-independence expansion of the Central Secretariat and housed several ministries for decades. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs plans to construct 10 buildings to house various ministries.
