Demolition of 100-year-old building begins in Mumbai

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) started the demolition of the 100-year-old Jugal Kishore Building at Malad in Mumbai on Thursday. Constructed in 1923, the three-storey building served as a popular landmark. It is being torn down to carry out road widening work in the area. The building was found unfit for habitation in an audit.
