Dengue fever kills 26 people in Sudan: Officials

Dengue fever has claimed 26 lives in Sudan this season, making it one of the worst outbreaks in the country in recent years, local health officials said. About 20 deaths have been recorded in Kordofan region. The Sudanese Health Ministry said as of Monday there were 3,436 suspected dengue cases in the country, of which 460 cases were confirmed.
