Denied BJP ticket from desired seat, H'yana minister Ranjit quits

Chaudhary Ranjit Singh Chautala on Thursday resigned as Haryana minister after BJP denied him ticket from Rania seat for the state Assembly elections. "I'll contest election from Rania...at any cost. BJP had offered me to contest...from Dabwali but I refused," the ex-Rania MLA stated. Ranjit, the brother of ex-CM Om Prakash Chautala, is now likely to fight as Independent candidate.
