Denmark thinking of lifting nuclear power ban: Danish Minister

Denmark is considering lifting a 40-year-old ban on nuclear power to enhance its energy security, the country's Energy Minister, Lars Aagaard, said. However, he ruled out the return of traditional nuclear technologies, banned in Denmark in 1985. "The Danish government will analyse potential benefits of new nuclear power technologies, with a report expected to be ready next year," he said.
