A thick layer of smog engulfed Delhi and neighbouring areas on Sunday morning, affecting train and flight services. According to IMD, visibility was recorded at zero at Safdarjung station in Delhi. Meanwhile, air quality also deteriorated to the severe category, with Anand Vihar station recording an Air Quality Index of 491 at 8 am. Restrictions under GRAP-IV have been reimposed.
