Denying sex to wife not cruelty under Indian Penal Code: High Court

The denial of sex or physical relations by a husband is not cruelty as it is defined under section 498A of the Indian Penal Code but does amount to cruelty under the Hindu Marriage Act, the Karnataka High Court has said. It said this while quashing a woman's criminal complaint against her husband who is a Brahma Kumaris follower.
