Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC) has withdrawn the power tariff hike of up to 7 per cent. The corporation had been facing severe criticism for the hike, although DERC denied the decision been taken under any political pressure. Yesterday itself DERC approved a hike between 2.5% to 7% for Delhi based Discoms in lieu of power cost going up.
