Designed COVID-19 vaccine in just a few hours: BioNTech Co-founder

BioNTech Co-founder Ugur Sahin recently revealed in a podcast that he designed the COVID-19 vaccine in just a few hours in mid-January. Earlier, it was also revealed that Moderna's vaccine also took just two days to design. The two vaccines rely on messenger RNA or mRNA technology which requires only COVID-19's genetic sequence, which can be obtained quickly.
