Detention of 10 lakh Uighur Muslims 'utterly fake news': China

China's Ambassador to Australia, Cheng Jingye on Thursday said that the report of the mass detention of at least 10 lakh Uighur Muslims in China is "utterly fake news". Jingye claimed that the detention had nothing to do with human rights and religion. The detention camps were education centres "aimed at deradicalisation", he added.
