Dettol maker names PepsiCo's Laxman Narasimhan as next CEO

Reckitt Benckiser, the maker of Dettol cleaners and Durex condoms, on Wednesday named PepsiCo's Global Chief Commercial Officer Laxman Narasimhan as its next CEO, to succeed Rakesh Kapoor. Narasimhan will be the first outside leader of the British consumer goods group since its formation in 1999. Before joining PepsiCo in 2012, he worked for 19 years at consultancy firm McKinsey.
