Noted cardiologist Dr CN Manjunath on Wednesday, 13 March joined the BJP in the presence of stalwart BS Yediyurappa. The son-in-law of JD(S) supremo and former prime minister HD Deve Gowda is expected to be BJP’s candidate from Bengaluru Rural Lok Sabha constituency. Incumbent MP and Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar’s brother DK Suresh is the Congress candidate.
