Devotees gather to celebrate 'Aadi Perukku' festival in Tamil Nadu

Thousands of devotees gathered at the banks of Kaveri river in Tamil Nadu's Trichy to celebrate 'Aadi Perukku,' showing gratitude to the monsoon. People offered flowers, fruits, incense sticks, rori, and chandan to the river. The festival honours water's role in life and agriculture and is celebrated annually on the 18th day of Aadi month.
