Devotees pour 11,000 litres of milk into Narmada as holy offering

Devotees have poured around 11,000 litres of milk into the Narmada River as part of a holy offering, reports said. The devotees said that milk was being offered to honour the holy river and symbolically feed aquatic life. The ritual would bring blessings and spiritual fulfillment, they added.
