DGCA DG Vikram Dev Dutt transferred amid rising bomb threats

The government has transferred the Directorate General of Civil Aviation's (DGCA) Director General Vikram Dev Dutt, amid rising cases of hoax bomb threats. Dutt has been transferred to the Coal Ministry as Secretary. DGCA's new DG will be assigned next week. This comes after around 70 bomb threats were reportedly received by airlines in last 6 days.
