DGCA issued 352 show-cause notices to airlines in last 2 yrs: Data

Aviation regulator DGCA issued 352 show-cause notices to scheduled commercial airlines for various violations in 2024 and 2025, according to government data. Of these, IndiGo received the highest at 98, with SpiceJet and Akasa Air receiving 45 and 17 notices, respectively. DGCA imposed penalties in 139 cases and issued warnings in 113 cases as part of enforcement.
