DGCA issues advisory to airlines over surge pricing as tourists rush home from Pahalgam

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued an advisory to airlines over surge pricing and waiving cancellation charges following a rush of tourists seeking to return to their homes after the Pahalgam terror attack. "Increase the number of flights...ensure uninterrupted connectivity from Srinagar to various destinations, facilitating evacuation of stranded tourists," the advisory said.
