DGCA orders special audit of firm that operated Ajit Pawar's plane

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) ordered a special audit of VSR Ventures, the charter operator of Learjet 45 that crashed in Baramati on January 28, killing Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and four others. The audit, which will be completed by February 15, will examine lapses in maintenance and flight operations. DGCA and AAIB teams are probing the crash.
