DGCA tightens rules, introduces new category of unruly passenger behaviour
DGCA has proposed stricter norms to deal with unruly aircraft passengers by introducing Level 4 category of unruly behaviour. This refers to 'attempted or actual breach of the flight crew compartment', which attracts flying ban of two or more years. Level 1 refers to 'unruly behaviour', Level 2 refers to 'physically abusive behaviour', and Level 3 refers to 'life-threatening behaviour'.
