DGGI begins action against ITC, others for tax evasion: CNBC-TV18

Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) has initiated actions against FMCG companies including ITC, Prataap Snacks, PepsiCo, Balaji Wafers, RP Sanjiv Goenka Group and others over alleged tax evasion, CNBC-TV18 reported. Notably, the amount of alleged GST evasion is ₹500 crore for ITC, ₹300 crore for Prataap Snacks, ₹175.89 crore for PepsiCo India and more.
