Director duo Abbas-Mustan said veteran actor Dharmendra insisted on hearing script of Bobby Deol-starrer 'Soldier' before giving his approval as he was a newcomer. In the film, Bobby's character kills his father, played by Dalip Tahil. "Listening to this scene, Dharmendra ji immediately got up from his seat and said, 'My son won't do role of killing people'," Mustan said.
