DHFL FD holders reject Piramal's takeover bid, demand dues in full

Fixed deposit (FD) holders at bankrupt mortgage lender Dewan Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL) have voted against Piramal Group's ₹37,250-crore resolution plan. The lead petitioner for FD holders said they are not getting what they deserve as Piramal has offered 10% above the admitted claim amount of the FD holders. Over 7,500 DHFL FD holders haven't received payments since June 2019.
