DHL to cut 2,200 UK workers' jobs at Jaguar Land Rover plants

DHL is going to cut around 40% or 2,200 jobs of UK workers from Jaguar Land Rover factories, the Unite trade union said. The cuts are being made due to "efficiency savings" which will take place across plants in Halewood and Tyrefort, among others. Unite has sought government protection of the car manufacturer as production has tumbled due to coronavirus.
