Dhurandhar director Aditya Dhar was once an aspiring cricketer

Aditya Dhar, acclaimed director of Uri and Dhurandhar 1 and 2, once dreamed of playing cricket for India. Filmmaker Priyadarshan recalled, "He was a cricketer, but he could not get into the Under-19 team because of some political influence so he was moved out." Missing the 2002 U19 World Cup ended his cricketing dream and led him to Bollywood success.
