Dialogue, diplomacy need to continue: Jaishankar on Middle-East war in RS

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar told the Rajya Sabha on the situation in West Asia that India continues to believe that "dialogue and diplomacy should be pursued to de-escalate the tensions". He added, "Our government had issued a statement on February 28 expressing deep concerns and urging all sides to exercise restraint." He made statements amid sloganeering by Opposition MPs.
