Diamond worth around ₹2 crore found in Madhya Pradesh

State-owned mining company NMDC has unearthed a 27.29-carat gem-quality diamond at its diamond mining project in Panna, Madhya Pradesh. Reports have put its indicative value at around ₹2 crore, although the final price will depend on the diamond's characteristics and the outcome of the auction. The diamond is the second-largest gem-quality diamond produced by NMDC from its Panna mine.
