Diaper delivery for 1.5-year-old triggers ₹22,500 fine in Kerala

A ₹1,429 diaper order for a 1.5-year-old triggered a ₹22,500 fine, 16x the order value, after a Kerala consumer commission found the courier company to be deficient in service. The order was 'out for delivery' after five days but was automatically cancelled 13 days later. The commission said the company didn't deliver the diapers despite having them at the warehouse.
