'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' actor Ryan Grantham sentenced to life for killing his mother

'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' actor Ryan Grantham has been sentenced to life in prison, without the possibility of parole for first 14 years, for murdering his mother in 2020. The 24-year-old had pleaded guilty to shooting his mother in the head as she played the piano. Grantham also confessed that he plotted to assassinate Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
