American dictionary publishing firm, Merriam-Webster, has clarified the definition of the word 'fact' after US President Donald Trump's senior adviser Kellyanne Conway claimed they had put "alternative facts" about Trump's inauguration crowd. Trump's team had claimed it was the largest audience ever. "A fact is a piece of information presented as having objective reality," Merriam-Webster said.
