Did 'chhichhora' roles before Beta; cried when I was offered the film: Aruna

Actress Aruna Irani, who played Anil Kapoor's on-screen mother, Lakshmi Devi, in 'Beta' recalled that it was difficult for her to bag the role in the film even though it was helmed by her brother, Indra Kumar. Aruna added that she cried a lot after she bagged the role. "Before 'Beta', I used to do only chhichhora roles," she said.
