Didn't consult us: Congress as SP announces candidates for bypolls

After Samajwadi Party (SP) announced the names of six candidates for upcoming by-elections to Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Congress' state in-charge Avinash Pande said they were not consulted by the Akhilesh Yadav-led party before releasing names. SP and Congress are part of I.N.D.I.A bloc. By-polls will be held on 10 seats in UP later this year.
