Didn't happen: Education Minister Pradhan on Darwin's theory 'deletion' from NCERT books

Amid reports that Darwin's theory of evolution has been removed from NCERT Science books, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said, "Nothing of this sort has happened". He said he talked to NCERT officials. "In book of Class 10, some portion related to the theory of evolution was omitted last year and it's unchanged in Classes 11 and 12," Pradhan added.
