Didn't take any money, couldn't even change shoes: Ex-Prez Ghani on leaving Afghanistan

Ex-Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani denied reports that he left for UAE from Afghanistan with a chopper full of cash. Adding that he didn't take any money, Ghani said, "These accusations are baseless... and I strongly reject them." He further said, "I didn't even get the chance to take my sandals off my feet and put on my shoes," he said.
