Differences must be met with respect, says Om Birla

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, speaking at the 60th birth anniversary of Sant Asang Dev Ji Maharaj at Kabirdham Ashram in Lakhimpur Kheri, said disagreements are natural in democracy but must be handled with mutual respect — invoking Saint Kabir Das's teachings on empathy, equality, and self-introspection. A foundation stone for Kabir Smriti Bhavan was also laid at the event.
