Digital economy set to cross 1 crore job-mark in next 2 yrs: Vaishnaw

Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday said the digital economy, which has created 88 lakh direct jobs so far, is set to cross the 1-crore mark over the next two years. "The electronics manufacturing sector has created 25-30 lakh direct jobs, IT services have crossed 55 lakh jobs and the startup sector has contributed 8 lakh jobs," he added.
