Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2023 passed by Rajya Sabha

The Digital Personal Data Protection Bill, 2023 was passed by the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday with a voice vote. The bill was presented for passage in the upper house of the Parliament by IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The bill will become law after President Droupadi Murmu grants her assent.
