DigiYatra service to begin at Pune airport for paperless travel

Airports Authority of India Chairman Sanjeev Kumar has said the Union government is implementing DigiYatra service at Pune airport for seamless and paperless travel. The DigiYatra is a Biometric Enabled Seamless Travel experience (BEST) based on facial recognition technology. The passengers' faces would act as their documents, like ID proof, vaccine proof and a boarding pass.
