Dimple wanted to live with Vikram's memories: Vikram Batra's parents

Captain Vikram Batra's parents said that they told his girlfriend Dimple Cheema to get married and settle down after he died in the Kargil War, but she refused. Captain Batra's father added, "[Dimple] [said] that she...[wants to] live the rest of her life with Vikram's memories." He added that Dimple calls them once or twice a year, especially on birthdays.
