Dinesh Karthik smashes his first-ever T20I fifty, 15 years after his T20I debut

India batter Dinesh Karthik on Friday smashed his first-ever fifty in T20I cricket during the fourth T20I against South Africa. The 37-year-old scored 55 runs off 27 deliveries. Karthik had made his T20I debut on December 1, 2006, when India played their first-ever T20I. His previous highest T20I score was 48(29), which he scored against West Indies in 2017.
