Dineshwar Sharma was appointed as the next chief of Intelligence Bureau on Saturday. Sharma, a 1979 batch IPS officer from Kerala cadre, is Special Director in the agency and has been working with it for the past 23 years. Dinesh will take over as the head of the agency on Jan-1 for the period of 2yrs, succeeding Syed Asif Ibrahim.
