Dinosaur eggs took 3 to 6 months to hatch: Study

A US-based study has revealed that it takes about 3-6 months for dinosaur eggs to hatch, disproving the long-held theory that dinosaur incubation duration was 11-85 days, similar to birds. The study further linked this incubation period to the extinction of dinosaurs. For the study, the team analysed the jaws of embryo fossils from two dinosaurs and visualised teeth formation.
