Dinosaur fossil found in India is oldest plant-eating species
The fossil of a dinosaur recently discovered in India's Jaisalmer belongs to the country's oldest plant-eating dinosaur. Named Tharosaurus indicus, it lived on the planet 167 million years ago. These dinosaurs, part of the dicraeosaurids group, had long necks for munching on vegetation. Remarkably, this is the first such dinosaur found in India and the world's oldest.
